Eric Forcier is a doctoral candidate at Charles Sturt University (School of Information Studies, Faculty of Education). He also holds a Master of Arts in Humanities Computing and a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta.
His research interests include (but are not limited to): theories of knowledge management, information behaviour, digital humanities, transmedia, social media, video games and gaming culture, history of science fiction and speculative fiction, and fan communities.
Eric has published research in the areas of knowledge management and social media studies. His doctoral research seeks to explore the information behaviours of transmedia fan communities.
